Mobilize Our Community

This last November, I was in Wausau, Wisconsin working with 470 students representing over 30 different schools and all four area school districts . We spent two weeks together creating beautiful maquettes (artists models), each student creating their own maquette.

The maquettes are currently in storage or on display at individual schools.

Where is that balance point?

I took photographs of all of these wonderful ideas (and the students who created them!). I’m now using them as inspiration to create a master maquette of approximately 50 mobiles that I will bring back to Wausau in the spring. I will spend another two weeks with the students taking that maquette to full scale for installation in the Great Hall of downtown Wausau. On May 7th, all of the full scale mobiles and all of the maquettes will be on display in the Great Hall. It promises to be an extraordinary event. Stay tuned to this page for more information.
